As part of the Christ Church Crewe Tower Restoration Project and to raise awareness of Bell Ringing in general, and hopefully get some recruits, we are holding a ringing event in Crewe on Saturday 20th September 2008 between 10am and 2pm. As well as "Dewbys" mini ring in the town square we hope to have Christ Church tower open.

However, we need volunteers to to ring at both venues, as there are weddings at Wistaston and Nantwich in the middle of the event and a Branch meeting later, we need at least eight for the mini ring and six for Christ Church. The idea is for the public to visit the mini ring first and maybe have a go then if they show an interest in learning to ring direct them to Christ Church to see "real" bells.

Would you kindly print the attached POSTER and pin to the your tower notice board. It gives contact details for anyone who can help, if only for an hour. It would be most appreciated and will help to make this event a success.
